Highlands plan OK by Moorabool council

A Central Highlands regional growth plan was endorsed by Moorabool council last Wednesday.

The plan identifies preferred locations for activities or development in rural and urban areas over a 30-year timeframe.

It also seeks to identify regional environmental, economic, community and cultural resources to be preserved, maintained or developed.

The council will ask Planning Minister Matthew Guy to approve the plan and consult with Central Highlands councils to implement the schemes.
