IN FOCUS: Total car care? Dan’s the man …

Since Daniel Stewart took ownership of Melton Car Tint three years ago, he’s refined the business and implemented changes that he believes best cater for the needs of motorists in his community.

One of the changes is that the business now trades under the dual names of Dunlop Super Dealer and Melton Car Tint, reflecting the company’s specialties aside from the VACC A-grade certified workshop facility.

So what’s on offer at this dynamic business?

The workshop:

Manned by mechanics who can make any car hum and know just about everything about tyres, wheels, brakes and servicing, the workshop is equipped with laser-guided technology for wheel alignments/balancing.

The crew can turn its hand to servicing and repairs of all types of vehicles, from European and American to high-horsepower rides and hotrods.

The VACC accreditation guarantees services are done to manufacturer specs, using genuine or appropriate-quality parts, and warranties will be maintained.

Daniel says: “We reckon people should bring their car in for a tune-up because it makes a real difference.”

Tyres:

Home to a wide-ranging selection of mag wheels, the tyre department also has all the best-known brands such as Dunlop, Goodyear, Kumho, BF Goodrich and Cooper.

Window tinting/other:

Tinting is carried out on all vehicles, as well as homes and offices. With summer about to sizzle and holiday time fast approaching, now is a good time to think about getting car windows tinted to make driving a more comfortable experience.

The business is also a stockist and installer of Century batteries.

Daniel is thoroughly enjoying the diversity of work that comes through his door.

“It can be giving a sleek car the darkest legal window tint and fitting tyres that best suit the car and usage to correcting wheel balance to make a car drive better and use less fuel,” he says.

“It’s always rewarding to receive customers’ thanks and knowing they’re satisfied.”

A final big tick – there are easy payment terms for approved customers and to suit all budgets.
