IN FOCUS: Storage King puts customers first

Sally Gardner, manager of Storage King Melton, believes working for Australia’s leading storage outfit has changed her for the better.

‘Storage King in Melton is such a lively place to work, with so many ways to help customers with their storage needs,” Sally says.
“It’s certainly brought me out of my shell, talking to all different kinds of people and business owners who want easy solutions. I love my job.”

The storage facility, going strong for the past 20 years, recently introduced Parcel King, a new service designed for customer convenience.

“Anyone wanting to send parcels, pallets or containers locally, interstate and internationally can now arrange that through us.

“We can organise a courier to collect the item from a customer’s house and get it sent out.

“Two obvious advantages are that we have no maximum weight limit, and we can set up local businesses with their own login details to arrange regular deliveries and track their progress.”

What else does the Melton business offer?

Self-storage

Long or short-term storage in varying sizes is available for residential and commercial clients. Units are alarmed and the site is monitored around the clock.
Sally is available for emergencies all
hours.

Packaging supplies

These cover the gamut of needs, from boxes and tape to bubble-wrap and porta-robes, as well as plastic covers to protect goods in storage.

Removalist service

Storage King organises a truck and qualified professionals to safely move household and business goods. The business has the expertise to make this challenging experience as painless as possible.

Deer Park born and bred, Sally says while the storage business is run professionally and according to strict protocols, it also treats customers as “part of the family’”.

“I’ve watched the expansion of Melbourne’s west over the years, but what never changes is people’s desire for exceptional customer service.

“I’m old-school when it comes to looking after clients. This is definitely the most important aspect for me, as it is for my assistant Archie who has extensive experience in looking after customers.

“Archie and I are both Jills of all trades so if something is needed to make the Storage King experience a success for our clients, we will get it done.”

Storage King Melton, 9-10 Reserve Road, Melton. Opens 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday; and 9am-3pm Saturday. Daily access 6am-8pm. Inquiries: 9746 7788.
