Wild critters a school holiday hit in Bacchus Marsh

Youngsters kicked off the school holidays by walking a little on the wild side in Bacchus Marsh.

Scaly, feathered and furry creatures delighted children at Village Bacchus Marsh last week as part of the shopping centre’s holiday program.

Centre manager Inger Coate said the program was a huge success.

“We’re so thrilled with the response – it’s been beyond our expectations,” she said. “This has also given us lots of ideas for the September school holidays, so watch this space.”

Meanwhile, kids can enter a colouring competition to win tickets to Werribee Open Range Zoo. Entry forms are available at centre stores.

Entries close on July 10.
