Motorcycle riders’ expo at Melton next month

One of the world’s best motorbike stunt riders will display his extraordinary skills in Melton next month.

During the Motorcycle Riders’ Expo, hosted by Melton and Wyndham councils and Victoria Police, Lukey Luke will take to the Tabcorp Park track to demonstrate the talent he has shown-off around the world.

Motorcycle greats Kevin Magee and Chris Vermeulen will share their stories and there will be discounted safety gear, talks on rider safety and police will provide information about new lane filtering and licensing rules.

Melton mayor Sophie Ramsey is encouraging riders and motorcycle enthusiasts to attend.

“The Motorcycle Riders’ Expo is an ideal opportunity for riders to hear from legends of the sport and learn more about how they can enjoy motorbike riding safely,” she said.

“There’ll be free activities for children, prizes to be won, and a range of exciting exhibitors, so bring the whole family along.”

The Motorcycle Riders’ Expo will run from 10am-2.30pm on Saturday, September 5, at Tapcorp Park, 2 Ferris Road, Melton South.

Entry is free, but bookings are advisable at www.motorcycleriderexpo.com.au
