Diggers Rest residents are being invited to learn about the art of growing their own carrots, spuds and beans at a workshop this weekend.
Bloomdale developer AVID Property Group will host the Spring Has Sprung event to inspire and educate people about how they can set up their own veggie patches.
A gardening expert from Bunnings Sunbury will host the session, teaching residents about how to plan and manage their gardens.
AVID Property Group general manager Paul O’Brien said: “We know how important it is for residents to feel at home within a community, and knowing their neighbours is a significant part of that.
“This workshop is the perfect opportunity for neighbours to meet and socialise, while also inspiring residents to create beautiful gardens for their new homes.”
The workshop will run from 10.30-11.30am on Sunday, November 6, at the Bloomdale sales centre, Sully Court, Diggers Rest.
