Classic cars, custom trucks and vintage bikes … there’s something for everyone at this year’s David Calleja Memorial Car Show.
The annual family-friendly event, hosted by Djerriwarrh Health Services, is in its 12th year and the crowds are lining up again.
DJHS chief executive Andrew Freeman said there would be plenty to see, do and taste, including swap-meets and raffles, and rides for the kids.
“And, of course, the main attraction being a great variety of vehicles, ranging from hot rods to classic, vintage and exotic cars, trucks and bikes,” Mr Freeman said.
Funds raised from the David Calleja Memorial Car Show go towards buying medical equipment for the Bacchus Marsh and Melton Regional Hospital and Melton Health.
Mr Calleja was a much-loved local businessman, car lover and hospital benefactor, who died in 2004.
Gates open at 8am, Sunday, February 5, at the Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh.
Tickets cost $5, while entry for children aged under 14 is free. Entry for competitors is $10 per vehicle.
