Bacchus Marsh art lovers are being invited to admire the work of local artists at the town’s only public gallery.

Dozens of artworks – ranging from paintings to sculptures – are on show at The Village Bacchus Marsh shopping centre, thanks to the hard work of the Bacchus Marsh Arts Council.

Council secretary John Spain said many local artists approached him about showcasing their work to the community in a public space.

“We were over the moon when The Village Bacchus Marsh said they’d love to help us,” he said. “All of a sudden you’ve got a gallery in Bacchus Marsh that is in a public space and easily accessible by everyone.”
