Carers Victoria will run a workshop on “Working with professionals – effective communication with health and other professionals” for people who care for loved ones with Parkinson’s. The workshop will run from 10.30am-12.30pm on Thursday, September 8, at Melton Health, 195 Barries Road.

Mental health first-aid

Ballan District Health and Care and the Rotary Club of Ballan are teaming up to offer free mental health first-aid training on September 8 and 9. There are 12 free places available in the 9am-5pm, two-day course at 33 Cowie Street, Ballan.
