Cross generation treat: 14 Outlook Drive, Kurunjang, 3337

This is a place to get your jaw dropping several times. First, it’s the sheer size of the block, so big at 5010 square metres (1.25 acres old-school) that it has footy goal posts and golf practice net in the far backyard.

Second are the multiple covered and blind-sheltered pergolas (one covering a large spa) that could easily host four footy teams – then throw in a gazebo sheltering a mains gas barbecue.

Third, and linking with all these, is a massive stand-alone games room, with carpeted, dark-timber dado boards that complement the huge polished dark-timber bar (with sink and foot rail), a gas log fire, air-conditioner, own alarm and a toilet.

And, yes, there’s a fourth – a fab free-standing, fresh-as-a-daisy granny flat with wheelchair-friendly wooden ramp and verandah, two bedrooms (one with walk-in robe), a bathroom and a crisp white kitchen with stainless-steel appliances. As well, there are laminated floorboards, a split-system and the same electric roller shutters all around as found in the main residence.

The main house is as family-friendly as the outdoor spaces. Entry is to a tiled foyer, to the left of which are timber bifolds to a large carpeted lounge-dining room with bay window and an air-conditioner.

On the foyer’s right is a family sitting area with one of many ceiling fans, plus pale laminated floorboards; an open study adjoins. Next to a tiled meals zone, the kitchen has a brekkie bench for four, cream cabinetry, a trio of french-door pantries, glass splashbacks and all mod-cons including integrated microwave.

The three bedrooms, each with floorboards, are down a tiled hallway, as are the main bathroom (decked out in blue and cream) with heat lamp, a separate toilet and laundry with closet and cupboards. Two bedrooms have mirrored robes, the large main bedroom, with air-conditioner, has a walk-in robe behind mirrored doors and a good-sized en suite.

Back outside, a second driveway leads to a remote-controlled four-car Colorbond shed with concrete floor, power and workshop benches. Water tanks, enclosed chook/dog run, vegie garden, irrigation system and 18 solar panels are all in place.

Lawns and gardens are well designed and zoned for family life, which looks mighty fine for incoming owners.
