Police seek help to find driver involved in pursuits

UPDATE: Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a driver who has been involved in four police pursuits in three weeks.

Since February 28,  a stolen vehicle was involved in four pursuits with them in and around St Kilda. Each pursuit was terminated amid safety concerns. 

The car – a 1998 silver Nissan Skyline sedan YER 44M (ACT registration number) – was stolen from Rathdowne Street, Carlton North, on February 28.

Police have found the burnt-out car at a paddock in Caroline Springs. It has now been towed to Bacchus Marsh.

Investigators have released CCTV footage obtained from a service station in Kensignton, where the driver was seen on Thursday, March 5.
