CAR SHOW

Owners of cool cars and bikes are invited to register for the Djerriwarrh Festival’s custom car and bike show. It will be held from noon-4pm on Saturday, November 9, with set-up from 9-11am. At Melton Recreation Reserve, Reserve Road, Melton. Cost: $5 for cars and bikes.

SCHOOL REUNION

Students and teachers who attended Bacchus Marsh High School in the 1960s and ’70s are invited to a reunion at Maddingley Park from 1pm this Saturday. Celebrations will continue with an evening meal and drink at Stoneys Hotel.

GRASSLAND WALK

Simon and Lorraine Jolly will host a guided walk through the grasslands on their 50-hectare property from 9am this Sunday. More than 70 different grassland wild flowers have been identified on the property at 295 Parwan-Exford Road, Parwan. The couple will talk about management issues and point out some of the more interesting native species. Numbers limited.
