A NATIONAL Broadband Network discovery truck rolled into Melton last week, with Tom Armitage showing residents like Andrew Copeman (pictured) the benefits that high-speed internet will bring to the shire.
The 23-tonne truck featured a simulated remote health consultation, video conferencing, and interactive health demonstrations.
An NBN Co spokesman says it receives thousands of emails and calls from residents wanting to know more about the introduction of high-speed internet.
Melton was last year named as a site for the second stage of the NBN, but no date has been announced for the rollout.
