MELTON Phoenix has moved its kick-off time for this weekend’s season-opener against Melbourne Tornado to 3pm.
The provisional 3 north-west match at MacPherson Park was originally scheduled for 7pm.
The Phoenix will be playing their first league match under new coach Danny Gnjidic against Flemington-based Melbourne Tornado, who were relegated from provisional 2 NW last season.
Melton warmed up for the opener on Saturday night with a 5-0 win against Ballarat District Association club Ballarat Junior Devils.
