A potentially life-saving defibrillator unit will now be a permanent fixture at Ballan Recreation Reserve.
The unit was presented last Thursday to the chairman of the reserve’s committee of management, Michael Masters.
Moorabool councillor Pat Toohey said it was committed to increasing availability of the technology across the region.
“It’s support like this that enable positive things to happen within our community,” he said.
The defibrillator was co-funded by Moorabool Shire Council, Ballan Recreation Reserve Committee and John Kontek Real Estate.
