Funding bonanza for Melton kindergartens with $2m state cash splash

Three kindergartens in Melton Shire will receive $2.1million in state government funding.

Parkwood Green Children’s and Community Centre in Hillside will get $300,000 to build an additional kindergarten room and foyer.

Kororoit Creek Early Learning Centre in Burnside Heights will get $300,000 to convert a community room into a third kindergarten room.

The remaining $1.5million will go to the new Botanica Springs Children’s and Community Centre in Melton South.

Mayor Justin Mammarella says the funding will allow the council to make significant improvements to early-years services.
