KALEB Cowley is talking about the one that didn’t get away after catching a 32-centimetre goldfish in Melton’s Westlake.
The 13-year-old (pictured) normally catches a variety of carp, yabbies and the occasional redfin, so he was stunned when he reeled in the surprisingly large goldfish last weekend.
His mother, Helene, said she suspected the fish had been released from a domestic tank and had grown corresponding to the size of its new environment.
