Frawley heads back to Bungaree

FORMER St Kilda defender and media commentator Danny Frawley hopes to give his old footy club Bungaree some valuable tactical advice when he drops by for a visit next Wednesday.

In town to promote the nationwide AFL Coaches Association competition, Frawley, who coached Richmond from 2000-04, will pass on some tips to some lucky Bungaree juniors from 10.30am.

Frawley, the AFL Coaches Association CEO, also hopes to discuss tactics with Bungaree senior coaches. The session will be followed by a sausage sizzle at midday.

The competition celebrates football communities and asks them to nominate their ‘local footy legend’, who can be anyone from the lunch lady to the high flying full-forward.

Clubs can go to locallegendsjerky.com.au to enter before August 20.
