MOORABOOL Council has agreed to extend and restore a bike path beside a busy stretch of road in Lal Lal.
After nine letters and a petition with almost 80 signatures, the council agreed in principle to improve the path, which was lost as the Clarendon-Lal Lal Road was widened over time.
Many children cycle to Lal Lal Primary School along the busy road, which is used by heavy traffic
.”We are very aware of the need for children’s safety in this area. We will treat it with all the seriousness it deserves,” mayor Pat Griffin said.
