TAC Cup: Jets down by 56 points

WESTERN Jets fell a game off finals pace at the weekend with its 7.10 (52) to 17.6 (108) defeat against Gippsland Power in Morwell.

The Jets trailed by just two points at half-time, but 13 goals to four after the long break set up the comfortable Gippsland win.

Spencer White was the Jets’ only multiple goal-kicker with three, while best players were Sam Critchley, Scott Greenhough, Jack Walker, Conor Ross, David Iaccarino and Billy Iles. The Jets’ next match is on July 28 away at North Ballarat Rebels.
