Students from the Teda School in Tianjin observed their Brookside counterparts in class and later enjoyed a social barbecue.
Melbourne Chinese Cultural Association president Ivan Chan said the Australian and Chinese students enjoyed the chance to meet. “We are beginning to establish a link between the two schools,” he said.
