Water meters stolen

Police are appealing for information from the public following a spate of water meter thefts in Melton West’s Cooloongup Crescent.

Shots fired in burglary

Three men have been remanded in custody following an incident at a rural property in Exford on September 6 when a firearm was discharged during an aggravated burglary. The men will face court at a later date.

Police are urging motorists to be vigilant in securing their vehicles. There has been a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles across Melton, including an incident last weekend when about $5000 worth of power tools was taken from a Toyota Hilux ute parked in Caroline Springs.
