MASSIVE water tanks supplying Melton, Eynesbury, Rockbank and Hopetoun Park have been given a spring clean.
Western Water’s systems and solutions manager Alan Shea (pictured) last week inspected the 35-million litre tanks in Minns Road, Melton West.
High pressure water was used to remove sediment from the interior surfaces.
Managing director Neil Brennan said the operation was part of a routine maintenance program.
The tanks will be refilled with water from Merrimu Reservoir over five days.
