RAIN put paid to Bacchus Marsh hopes of upsetting South Gisborne Cruisers in the Macedon Ranges Tennis Association semi-finals at the weekend.
South Gisborne was well on the way to victory, up 6-44 to 1-8, when play was abandoned. Bacchus Marsh men were unable to take a game off South Gisborne in the doubles.
South Gisborne Cast of Thousands is the other grand finalist after beating Macedon, 7.5-60 to 1.5-27.
