BNL: Melton South scrambles to tie scores

MELTON South has its first competition points of the Ballarat Netball League A grade season after pegging back Redan to earn a draw.

South trailed at every change after a slow start on Saturday but pegged back the deficit to draw 31-all.

Andrea Tai scored 20 goals as one of South’s best, along with Jenna Nicolle and Jill Van Der Ross.

Bacchus Marsh is the only team in the division to have won two from two, with its 50-40 win against Sebastopol. Lake Wendouree beat Ballarat 57-24 and North Ballarat City beat East Point 42-36.
