A MELTON West man had his Mitsubishi Lancer impounded for 30 days after he was intercepted on the Melton Highway at Sydenham last week.
Police said the man, 19, had a suspended licence and numerous prior convictions for driving while suspended.
He will be charged on summons to face Bacchus Marsh Magistrates Court at a later date.
