Moorabool residents from countries as far as Scotland, Italy, Gibraltar, Mexico and India became Australian citizens at a ceremony at Ballan’s council chambers last Tuesday. Among the new citizens to receive a certificate and native sapling from mayor Pat Toohey was Suphawinda Thiangrueang (pictured) from Thailand.
