RIDDELL District’s top juniors played for their league in the AFL Victoria metro junior championships through the long weekend.
The RDJFL was on the end of some tough results in under-15s division 1, losing 23.14 (152) to 1.4 (10) against Essendon District last Wednesday, then 5.4 (34) to 10.11 (71) against Western Region on Saturday.
In under-15 division 2, RDJFL lost 1.4 (10) to 18.17 (125) against Western Region, then 2.2 (14) to 17.20 (122) against Yarra.
In under-14 division 1, RDJFL lost 2.4 (16) to 21.14 (140) against Essendon District, then 7.7 (49) to 13.13 (91) against Western Region. Kyle Britton kicked four goals against Western Region.
