Pentland pupils stick together to beat the bullies

PUPILS at Pentland Primary School, including Teanna (grade 4) and Molly (prep), have banded together to take on bullying.

Celebrating National Buddy Day on June 7, prep and grade 1 children joined forces with their older school buddies, using velcro straps to compete in three-legged races and raise more than $200 for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

Students also dressed in purple for the day, on which children take a stand against all forms of bullying.
