A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with burglary, theft and driving offences after a pursuit in Melton.
Police tried to stop a vehicle towing a trailer carrying a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Brennan Street as part of a routine inspection about 2.45pm last Tuesday.
The man refused to stop and a pursuit began.
The vehicle was found abandoned in a court off Brooklyn Road and the man was located nearby.
A large amount of stolen property was found in his vehicle, including the motorcycle. The man has been remanded in custody.
