MELTON South Primary pupils celebrated Literacy and Numeracy Week with a ‘read around the school’ event last Wednesday.
Gathering outside with chairs and books, the pupils joined staff and parents in a mass reading session.
Some children also played games to consolidate their knowledge of letters and their sounds, while others polished their writing, reading and spelling skills.
