SIX community organisations in Moorabool will share more than $16,000 in federal government grants.
Bacchus Marsh Aquatic Centre received $5000, St John Ambulance in Bacchus Marsh $4752.52 and Bacchus Marsh Lions Club more than $2000 in the latest round of the volunteer grants program.
Ballan Anglers Club and the Bacchus Marsh branch of the Country Women’s Association each received more than $1500 and Ballan District Vintage Machinery and Vehicle Club got $1200.
Sixteen Melton groups were also funded, including the Melton Chinese Friendship Association, Melton Pistol Club and Eynesbury Cricket Club.
