CHFL: Gordon ready for elimination final

GORDON heads into its elimination final off the back of a
competitive loss to unbeaten Buninyong as the Bombers completed a
perfect 17-win season at the Hawks’ expense on Saturday.

Gordon (seventh, 10-7) had little to play for as far as its ladder
position but still kept the minor premier honest in the 13.15 (93) to
9.8 (62) defeat.

Gordon plays Daylesford at Waubra from 2.35pm this Sunday in the second elimination final.

Gordon plays Newlyn in the reserves elimination final from 12.35pm.

Ballan finished its senior season with a 43-point loss to Carngham-Linton that left the Blues (6-11) 14th.

Ballan’s under-14.5s (vs Skipton) and reserves (vs Beaufort) will play elimination finals at Dunnstown on Saturday.
