Staughton College’s positive step forward

Staughton College students Bianca Ferri, Madeline Bowker, Jonny
Ferri, Taylah Field and Christena Simester tuned up for the Melton
school’s adidas fun run, which will raise money for the school.

The run on Wednesday coincided with National Health and Physical Education
Day.

Teacher Steven McSweeney says the fun run is a great platform to
get students excited about physical activity.

“The college is setting a
new standard for other schools to follow by choosing a way to raise
money that delivers positive messages about the importance of physical
activity to a child’s healthy growth and development,” he says.
