Sleep in part of the church service

Population growth has lead Melton Baptist Church to add a second
Sunday service for residents.

Member Tonya Court (pictured) will be one
of many attending the new 5pm service from October 6. Pastor Albert Peck
said the church’s Sunday-morning service had doubled in size to about
100 people since December last year.

“The increase in demand has forced
us to consider how we run the Sunday-morning service. So we came up with
a concept of a 5pm service. Society has changed, people are working six
days per week and would probably love a sleep-in on Sunday.”
