Myrniong Music Festival is back for its 13th year this Saturday, headlined by eclectic party sound masters Eagle & The Worm.
The eight-piece rock band will top off a day of performances by local and national bands, including Jakarta Criers, Murdena, Them 9’s, Lincoln le Fevre & The Insiders, and Mischievous Thom.
Texas blues band Biggy Rat will also bring their energetic sounds.
There’s a market from midday, with stalls selling produce, soaps, and crafts; street performers, face-painting and a jumping castle for children.
Organiser Alan Baulch expects about 500 people will attend the festival at Myrniong Recreation Reserve. Pre-sale tickets are $20 (free for under 15s).
All proceeds will go to future works at the reserve.
