Melton Centrals have got their first win of the season in the Victorian Women’s Football League, defeating Jacana on Sunday 6.9 (45) to 1.7 (13).
Centrals should have been way in front at quarter time after nailing eight scoring shots in the opening term.
They took their lead to 16 points at half-time, before kicking three goals in the third term. Despite being scoreless in the final term, Centrals won easily.
They have the bye this week.
