How the community garden did grow

Green thumbs and art enthusiasts will be attracted to this week’s Melton at Heart community garden exhibition. The display, which opens tomorrow at the Melton Visitor and Information Centre, showcases work created by group volunteers such as Steve Marshall. It includes photos, plans and designs related to the development of the garden. The opening of the exhibition will coincide with a planting day at Djerriwarrh Community House. Volunteers are invited to get their hands dirty and meet other gardening enthusiasts from 9am. The exhibition ends May 31.
