Residents looking to cool off this week can head to the Bacchus Marsh and Ballan outdoor pools, which are set to open on Thursday 19 February, through to Saturday 21 February.
With the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) predicting temperatures to reach 27 degrees on Thursday, 34 on Friday and 30 on Saturday, the conditions are near ideal for swimming.
With the school term underway, both pools will operate between 3.30-7pm on both Thursday and Friday.
Opening hours will be extended on Saturday, set between 11am and 7pm, giving locals the perfect chance to cool off with a full day of swimming.
Patrons are being advised the Bacchus Marsh outdoor pool has a pre-booked all-day hire on Thursday prior to public opening hours.
Residents are also reminded pool operations remain subject to weather and safety conditions, with any updates communicated via council’s Facebook page.
