Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the circumstances surrounding a collision in Deanside the morning of Tuesday 10 February.
Emergency services were called to the Western Freeway, inbound near Hopkins Road, following reports a truck and ute had collided about 4.15am.
The truck rolled as a result of the collision, with a section of the freeway remaining closed throughout the day.
The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old Beaufort man, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the ute, a 29-year-old Truganina man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
