Rockbank Fire Brigade is inviting locals to learn more about volunteering at a recruitment information session this Sunday 15 February.
The session will be held as a relaxed question-and-answer event and is open to residents from Rockbank, Aintree, Thornhill Park and Mt Atkinson who are interested in giving back to their community.
The brigade is currently recruiting both operational firefighters and non-operational support members with organisers keen to highlight CFA volunteering goes well beyond fire response.
A wide range of roles are available, including communications, community engagement, administration, treasurer and secretary duties, occupational health and safety, asset maintenance, incident management team roles and VFBV delegate positions.
The session kicks off at 10am on Sunday 15 February at Rockbank Fire Brigade, 129 Westcott Parade, Rockbank.
