Bushfire deemed suspicious

Police are investigating a bushfire in Lerderderg on 3 February.

Emergency services responded to reports of the blaze near O’Brien’s Crossing about 7pm.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

At the height of the fire, leave immediately warnings were issued for Lerderderg, Greendale and Blackwood, and leave now warnings were issued for Bullengarook and Lerderderg.
