As the temperature creeps over 40 degrees across Victoria, several towns in Moorabool are currently affected by power outages, with investigations into the cause underway.
According to Powercor, 582 customers are affected across Darley, 181 in Coimadai, 103 in Merrimu, 66 in Long Forest, 27 in Bacchus Marsh, 23 in Bullengarook and 4 over in Toolern Vale.
Energy crews are working to identify the cause of the outages.
Powercor said power is expected to be restored by 6pm tonight.
