A Caroline Springs man has been charged following the alleged theft of portable toilets in Deanside last week.
Victoria Police alleges two portable loos were stolen from residential worksites on Lanning Way on Wednesday, September 10.
Police executed a search warrant at a property on Marine Parade in Caroline Springs on Wednesday, September 17, locating one of the lavatories and seized a trailer which was allegedly used to transport the toilets.
The 36-year-old Caroline Springs man was interviewed and has been charged with two theft charges, handling stolen goods, committing an indictable offence while on bail, and drug offences.
The other stolen toilet was located in Bayles.
The man was bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on December 12.
