Man charged after being found passed out in stolen car

Police have arrested an alleged member of the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang after finding him passed out in a stolen car in Aintree.

Police have seized a number of firearms, ammunition and drugs after finding a man passed out in a stolen vehicle in Aintree.

Police said a 25-year-old Craigieburn man was found passed out in a stolen vehicle on Waler Street, Aintree on December 8.

The man was wanted as part of an investigation into a number of firearms offences and is alleged to be a patched member of the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

Police conducted a search of the vehicle and located a handgun.

A warrant was executed at a Craigieburn address where police said they found a loaded sawn-off rifle, ammunition and a commercial quantity of drugs.

The man has been with a range of offences, including firearm offences.
