Young Melton man remembered as a “true superhero”

David's family are reaching out to the Melton community for support.

A Melton family are asking for support to farewell their young son, who died after a sudden asthma attack in the early hours of last Friday morning, August 19.

David Bosanquet’s aunt Annie Petch said he was the sweetest, most genuine young man she ever knew, and was proud to call him her nephew.

“His motto was just, be kind,” she said.

The 21-year-old was one of five children and loved to play video games with his brothers and cousins.

David was registered as an organ donor, who has already saved four lives through his donations.

“He was a true superhero who walked among us,” Ms Petch said.

The family has started a Go Fund Me campaign to be able to give David a farewell worthy of a “beautiful” person.

“We’re just asking the community and people who know us, to help our grieving sister organise a funeral for her boy,” Ms Petch said.

“Every little bit counts, even the cost of a beer, as a 21-year-old deserves a drink, not a coffin.”
