Melton testing site moved

The Western Health COVID-19 testing site at the Melton Health car park has closed and a new site will be available nearby at the old Bunnings warehouse, in combination with the existing vaccination hub.

The old testing site was located at 195 Barries Road and will now move to 149 Barries Road in Melton West.

At the new site, residents will be able to use the drive-through COVID-19 testing service from 8:30am to 4pm each day.

The site will also continue to host the Melton vaccination hub, with both a drive through vaccination service and a sit-down service.

The latest report from the Victorian government on April 20 stated that two thirds of residents over the age of sixteen have received three vaccine doses.

Victorian health minister Martin Foley encouraged Victorians to continue to come forward for a third dose.

“If you haven’t yet had your third dose, now is the time ahead of winter, don’t leave it too late to get yourself the best protection.”

To book a vaccination appointment, call the Victoria Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398 or use the online booking system at https://cvms.powerappsportals.com/.
