Melton Paws and Claws (MPAC) organisation is holding a big Easter raffle this weekend to raise much-needed funds to help vulnerable furry friends.
There are eleven huge Easter hampers to be won and entries close on Saturday afternoon, with hampers being delivered before Easter Sunday.
The charity help homeless and stray animals, surrendered animals, special needs animals, animals in urgent need of care, orphaned litters, injured animals and wildlife in the western suburbs.
MPAC also aim to reduce the number of stray animals in the community and work to re-home animals to families through adoption.
The group is raising funds after being hit with some large vet bills in their mission to help save unwell kittens. After recently spending $25,000 trying to save two cats, the group is reaching out to the community for help and offering festive prizes in return.
The charity hopes to be able to raise enough funds to return to working at full capacity after shutting down during the pandemic.
