A new musical event is coming to the Moorabool region this ANZAC weekend.
The Turramurra Folk Music Camp is a three-day camp away event which consists of a jam-packed line up of music workshops and activities for all to enjoy.
The event will be held in Glenmore at the Lady Northcote Recreation Camp for the first time, after previously being located in the Otways region for the past 38 years.
From April 22 to 25, the camp will give musicians and music lovers the opportunity to participate in classes with professional music tutors and performers.
Workshops and activities include music ensembles, a “Ukestra”, and classes in Indian singing, fiddle, Balkan brass, guitar, whistle, art and improvised theatre. The classes cater to both beginner and intermediate levels.
Artists in attendance will include Josh Bennett, Parvyn Singh, Mark Jackson, Jane Jelbart, The Maes and many more.
Tickets are available online through Trybooking and further information on the event is available at www.rosesgapmusiccamp.org.au/events/turramurra-folk-music-camp.
