Police investigating fight in Tarneit

Up to 20 people may have been involved in a fight which took place in Tarneit on Wednesday, February 9, allegedly including a teenager from Fraser Rise.

In a statement, Victoria Police said they arrived to find “a group of highly agitated people” at a Knightsbridge Drive address about 8.30pm.

“Initial investigations suggest a fight occurred involving up to 20 people,” the statement read.

Officers arrested two people at the scene, and one person suffered minor injuries.

The 17-year-old Fraser Rise boy has since been released and is expected to be charged on summons for offences including affray, criminal damage and assault.

An 18-year-old Williams Landing man has been charged with assault police and affray.

He has been bailed to appear at the Werribee Magistrates Court on July 28.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or video footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
